Closure - Style Guide: VNUS Closure Trademark Guidelines
The
Closure® Procedure and VNUS® are registered trademarks
of VNUS® Medical Technologies, Inc. The Closure® Procedure is only appropriate when used to describe
endovenous radiofrequency (RF) ablation of the
saphenous vein for treating venous insufficiency.
The Closure® Procedure and VNUS® marks may not
be used in conjunction with non-VNUS products.
- Closure® should always be
used as "Closure® procedure" to describe endovenous
radiofrequency (RF) ablation.
- The "® " (registered trademark)
symbol should be used with Closure® and/or VNUS® (i.e. Closure® Procedure). Note that the ® symbol
only needs to be used the first time Closure® or VNUS® appears.
- Closure® should be printed
in Garamond regular font.
- When using Closure® & VNUS® a footnote should be added stating "Closure® & VNUS® are registered trademarks of VNUS Medical
Technologies, Inc."
VNUS reserves the right at
all times to review usage of the trademarks and
may request samples for verification. VNUS reserves
the right to terminate this agreement at any time.
